Shadows Of The Empire and Expanded Universe continue to maintain their own categories and also remain unchanged. The latter line also houses Action Collection 12″ figures in the “starburst” packaging (used for FlashBack and CommTech 3.75″ figures). And finally (3) The Power Of The Force “2” (which remains unchanged). (2) The Power Of The Force “2” (which includes all POTF2 Freeze Frame figures, anything with a “The Kenner Collection” logo on it, and all “green” Action Collection 12″ figures. Going forward, the lines will be organized by (1) The Power Of The Force “2” (which includes all POTF2 products prior to the 1998 Freeze Frame launch and all Collector Series 12″ figures). However, recently adding the Collector Series and Action Collection 12″ figures posed some organizing complications for us, and it’s necessitated a reorganization in the categories. Previously, we organized everything by (1) “Red” packaging, (2) “Green/Freeze Frame” packaging and then by (3) “CommTech/FlashBack” packaging. No mention was made of Dash Rendar, likely indicating that while the Outrider's existence is confirmed as canonical, the story and characters depicted in Shadows are not. The Outrider interior on display included a holographic gaming table and small lounge, as well as padded corridors reminiscent of the Millennium Falcon. Recently, Disney redefined the Star Wars canon to include the six theatrical films, Clone Wars and Rebels' series, new properties announced following the Lucasfilm acquisition, and a few other curious odds and ends. The Outrider was added to the background of Mos Eisley in A New Hope as part of changes made for the Star Wars Special Edition theatrical release. The display confirms that the Outrider, which first appeared in Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, is officially part of the new canonical Star Wars lore. Crap now I need to tear down my Falcon and pull out my N64 and play some Shadows of the Empire. An officially-sanctioned interior model of Dash Rendar's starship, the Outrider, was on display at Star Wars Celebration 2015. I built the Outrider from Shadows of the Empire with just the pieces from the 7965 Millenium Falcon set.
